Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ASME Y14.5 – Level 1

GD&T ASME Level 1 Course Aim

The course is based on the American ASME Y14.5 standard, and is applicable to users of the 1994, 2009 and 2018 revisions (a version is also available based on the British BS 8888
standard and the ISO standards which it references). Delegates are provided with comprehensive course notes, and a workbook with questions and exercises to accompany the training material.

The course covers the fundamental concepts of GD&T and its application and interpretation. The course is suitable for anyone who is familiar with the conventions of engineering drawing and dimensional (or ±) tolerances, and is relevant to anyone who has to produce or interpret mechanical engineering specifications.
