hyperMILL 5 Axis Training
hyperMILL 5 Axis Training
Aim
The course is an advanced CADCAM course aimed at upskilling CADCAM programmers in 5Axis simultaneous machining cycles to manufacture complex 3D parts using state of the art CADCAM technology.
The course is suitable for customers with or looking to acquire hyperMILL CAD/CAM software.
Course Description
- Use of 5X machine tools and understanding of different kinematics of CNC machines
- Use of tilt curves on cylindrical parts, using tool tip and the effects they have.
- How different shape and positions of tilt curves affects toolpaths
- Use of tilt curves outside the cylinder and how it affects the tool Path
- Using the tool holder and different methods to control the tool holder
- How to rework a 3X cycle to a 5X cycle and why
- How to program complex parts using advanced 5X cycles
Who the course is for?
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Creating file folders, copy and paste etc.
- Ideally have completed Part 1 and part 2 course. If not must have an excellent understanding of hyperMILL software.
- Knowledge of 2.5D and 3D modeling is an advantage but not essential
- A excellent understanding of CNC machining is preferred
