HyperMILL Part 2

Course Aim

The course is a hyperMILL CADCAM course aimed at operators and setters looking to acquire new and upgrade existing skills, and at adult learners with knowledge and experience of the machining process looking to make the step up to CNC Programming.

 

Overview

The course covers programming skills for 2.5D and 3D machining. Advanced and comprehensive step by step course to gain advanced skills to programme 2.5D and 3D parts. 
The course is suitable for customers with or looking to acquire hyperMILL CAD/CAM software.

 

Target Audience

The course is suitable for those who have:

• Knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Creating file folders, copy and paste etc. 
• Ideally have completed Part 1 course. If not must have a good understanding of hyperMILL software.
• Knowledge of 2.5D and 3D modeling is an advantage but not essential
• A general understanding of CNC machining is preferred

• Create macros to automate drilling and pocket machining processes
• Programme complex 3D parts for manufacture using advanced milling cycles 
• Build and manage tool databases 
• Use toolpath transformations that include linear, circular, and mirroring transformations 
• Use NC events and associative toolpaths
